Has hockey equipment changed a lot during the past 10 years or so? Yea I think so. Do any of you crazy hockey nuts remember when Nike first came on the seen like 13 years ago with the white Nike skate? The Ignite skate and the aluminum stick?
I think Gretzky was the first to try the Nike stuff out. I thought it was so cool seeing him wearing the Nike symbol. Since then, skates have become so light and protective and sticks have become lighter but stronger. It will be a test for all hockey manufactures to see what they will come out with next.
