When someone wants to promote something on the internet, one
thing they can do is to put ads on other websites such as banner
ads or classified ads. It usually work like this, the person who
wants to promote (the advertiser) give some money to the website
owner (the publisher) and in return, the publisher shows the
advertiser's ads on their website. Hoping that the visitor of
the publisher's website will click the ads and visit the
advertiser's website. Win-win solutions, advertisers get
traffic, publishers get money.

In order to get good quality of traffic, the advertisers need to
find good quality websites that related to the products /
services they are selling. When an advertiser wants maximum
exposures, it is a lot of work to find such websites and to deal
with payments and everything. As for the publishers, it is also
not easy to find advertisers who wants to advertise on their
websites. So then, come Google to the rescue.

Google offers services to accomodate both advertisers and
publishers needs. It work like this, the advertisers pay google
some money to advertise in google networks (which they claimed
to reach more than 80% of Internet users), this service is
called Google Adwords (Pay Per Click). Then google pay some
money to the publishers that show the ads on their website, this
service is called Google Adsense. Even more win-win solutions,
right?

The advertisers only need to deal with google, only pay to
google, while the publishers do not need to find people to
advertise on their website, they simply just need to put Google
Adsense code in their website.

In conclusion, the diagram will be like this: Advertisers ---->
Google Adwords ----> Google System ----> Google Adsense ---->
Publishers

In order to send quality traffic to the advertisers websites,
the ads should be related to the topic of the websites. Google
use a very smart system that scan keywords through the pages of
the publishers websites, and then decide which ads should show ,
depending on the keywords found. For example, the site
www.needed-info.com/quit-smoking/ that have articles about how
to quit smoking, will show ads that are related to the term
'quit smoking'. The website owner will then earn some money when
visitor click on any of the Google Adsense links.

If you want to earn money from the internet, you should consider
to deploy Google Adsense box in your websites. For fact, more
and more webmaster are making very good living from Google
Adsense alone.
