These may take the form of a medication, or an antibiotic - or both. Another type of prescription medication is a form of vitamin A called retinoids, along with a few others. For the ladies, something that is rather new is the putting of prescription medicines into your cosmetics, and these can be ordered specially according to your need and the doctor's prescription.

Extreme Care

When there are some more serious forms of acne, then there are other forms of acne care. These may involve laser techniques and even some forms of surgery to remove the comedones. Other treatments may involve the injection of corticosteroids into the comedone itself.
