After that, it is time for the decoration of the floor. So, the factors such as the color, stencil, pattern and border should be taken care of at this stage. Normally, the acid stains and the water and solvent based dyes are used to achieve the look of the floor.

Finally, the concrete overlay is sealed with the solvent or water based sealers. This adds the finishing touch to the floor and at the same time, gives the floor an enhanced durability.

As you can see, the decorative concrete floor is a very good alternative for the remodeling your house with the ordinary materials. It is different from them and therefore has a unique style quotient. Also, it is very affordable and simple to install. It can offer a versatility that nothing else can do.

With the imprinted concrete you can make your floor look like the natural stones and anything that you like. You can give the look of the brick walls and other interesting textures with the different colors; it is very likely therefore that you will get what you wanted for years.

Though you may feel that this is applicable for only the floor, it can be actually applied to anywhere. It is sustainable and therefore retains its look for long. Normally, the concrete and the color are blended in a polymer that is very much like the milk. After mixing them up thoroughly, the product is applied on the surface.

With latest technologies emerging every now and then, it has become possible that the decorative concrete can be applied to the vertical walls and other places as well. So, the next time, your house looks a bit older, give it a thought.
