There is nothing called an all-real-luck factor associated with bluffing. An intelligent bluff is next to impossible until it is coupled with the mathematical logics of betting and psychological know how and flexible decision making skills between nanoseconds.

Bluffing can turn out to be an ingenious method to make some profits if it is not customized to suit the existing betting trends. Bluffs work best when you do not consider your cards in vacuum, you need to probably know that there are going to be yet other better hands you are trying to bluff at the same time.

Some might identify you are bluffing and they might in turn be slow playing you by giving the kind of response you prefer! In the end, it might be that they are winning.

When you bluff you must know what your opponent might be playing with. If you are not able to guess it correctly, at least a near perfect guess should be made to make an intelligent bluff.

All that is necessary for the victory of a bluff is that other men should do nothing that you do not prefer. Making others believe what you are expecting to reveal, requires your opponent to be a good mind reader. A bluff becomes useless when your opponent is a dumb old rock who stereo-plays his/her strategies without ever attempting to read the motives of your meanings. Such dumb players can contribute to huge winnings or huge loss to your plays.

Before you pull off your bluff you must understand if your opponent is someone who will make the least attempt to understand the motive behind your moves. Whether you should bluff or not against a certain opponent is based upon whether they are intelligent or not; bluffs work only against intelligent people who are always reading tells.

The mind of the player who is good in identifying tells is conversant with bluffs and in understanding tells, the mind of the mean man is conversant only with gains and they think in vacuum and bluffs never work against them.

Another side to bluffing is to bluff in a special way. Bluffing in a special way is achieved by bluffing only very rarely and not very often. If you are going to make frequent bluffs, then your approach will be chronological and players are likely to guess most of the time that you are bluffing and what you expect will never happen. If you are going to make timeless bluffs all of a sudden, after a propagated study of the existing situation, then your bluff will work magic.

Personal leadership in gaming strategies and keeping in constant recollection of your money goals and aligning your bluffs in a way to be harmonious with the table trends is the only way to pull out a bluff in the right time, to eventually work. There is no point in staging a play with no audience. Be sure that you have a receptive audience for your bluffs; make sure, they perceive it the way you want them to be looking at it.
